Removing the bats does not remove the contamination.

Bat droppings can carry fungal spores that cause histoplasmosis, a serious lung infection, once they go airborne. Their acidity will also eat into wood, metal, and insulation if it is not removed. That part takes professional decontamination, not a standard cleanup.

Pest control handles the bats. Bio-One handles what they leave behind, safely and correctly.

Reach out if you are a pest control company looking for a cleanup partner, or if you need decontamination at your property.

Getting rid of the pigeons is only half the problem.

The droppings they leave behind are more than a mess. Once they dry, they crumble into a fine dust that can carry histoplasmosis, a fungal infection that can move from the lungs to the eyes and even lead to vision loss. The droppings are also acidic. Over time, they eat away at metal, stone, and concrete, damaging the property and leading to costly repairs.

This isn't a job for a standard cleaning crew. Bio-One handles pigeon droppings safely, with full removal, decontamination, and proper disposal by trained and certified technicians.

If a bird problem leaves more behind than expected, we're here to help.

Once the pest is gone, the cleanup is not always over.

Rodents, bats, pigeons, and other pests can leave behind droppings, nesting debris, and contamination. Pest control takes care of the pests, but the waste they leave behind often needs professional cleaning too. It can carry bacteria that may lead to illness, and some of it is acidic enough to damage surfaces and property over time.

That is where Bio-One comes in. We take care of the cleanup and decontamination after the pest problem is solved, so the property is left safe and ready to use.

A bad smell on a property is often the first sign that something else is wrong. Pets, water damage, mold, smoke, biological residue, or hidden contamination can all leave odors that no amount of cleaning seems to fix. The smell is the symptom. The cause is somewhere else.

That is what Bio-One looks for. We find the source, remove what is causing the odor, and treat the space so it stays clean, not just covered up.

Pest control removes the problem. Decontamination finishes the job.

Once the rodents are gone, droppings, urine, saliva, and nesting materials are left behind and can carry bacteria, viruses, and parasites that may go airborne when disturbed. Diseases like Hantavirus, Leptospirosis, and Salmonella have all been linked to rodent waste.

At Bio-One, our trained technicians use proper PPE, OSHA-compliant procedures, and professional disinfection methods to clean and restore the affected areas. We work with pest control partners, facility teams, and property managers to make sure the space is safe to use again.
