OK, I soldered it, but I’m not sure if I want to patina it black or leave it. I’m very new to stained glass, and I know my soldering lines are not the greatest so please be nice. I need a lot more practice for sure. But all in all for this being my fifth and largest piece I’m pretty happy with it. Hope you guys enjoy it.

I haven't made angels for several years now. When I taught my sister the art of stained glass, I taught her how do angels. As a beginner, it would be a be a simple project for her and help her in all aspects to enhance her skills. She's posted many of her beautiful angels with our group. I had a request for angels. This is one of a few that I have been working on. Many more to come!

Hi friends, I was recently asked to create a unicorn suncatcher. I couldn’t find a pattern that felt right, so I google searched unicorn color pages and turned one into a pattern. There’s a lot of dichroic compared to what I normally use ($$), some beautiful iridescent Youghiogheny- and did a tiny bit of copper overlay. This is how it turned out- I’m happy with it and wanted to share!

Progress on my dolphin project. It is about 11x17. Now before I start foiling… to leave the solder shining silver or patina it black?!!!

First time doing hobby came and first time using patina. Lots of things to learn (like using black backed foil instead of copper, oops!)

Is there a way to recolor a stained glass lamp that came in the wrong color?
I recently bought a stained glass lamp that was supposed to be purple and orange. Unfortunately the color that arrived was blue, not purple, and the seller is refusing to refund me. I love the lamp, but need it to be purple. Is there any way I can change the blue to a purple? First picture is what i received, picture two is what it was supposed to be

A very ambitious but rewarding first piece
I had an empty transom window in my house so I made a stained glass piece for it. First time creating stained glass - I’m a woodworker so I’m used to working with my hands but it was still a very different and fun experience!
