Food For Thought - Denver

Last Friday’s food packing event was ONE FOR THE BOOKS! We had an incredible crew come together to pack meals for our kiddos.

And getting to do it alongside the Colorado Avalanche made the day even more special. 🏒 💙

There’s something pretty damn special about seeing one of Denver’s finest sports institutions step up for the city we all love and call home. The Avs brought great energy and big hearts to help make a difference for the kids and families who need it most in our community.

A HUGE THANK YOU as well to BOK Financial, who came ready to rock and roll with a fantastic group of volunteers who have been doing their best for FFT for many years now.

DENVER SHOWS UP FOR DENVER. 💪 Last Friday was a perfect example of what happens when great people and great organizations come together with a shared commitment to our kids. 🍎

THANK YOU ALL! 🙌

Wow. JUST WOW. 💥

HUGE crowds at MSU and East yesterday, and we had a whole lotta kiddos show up. That's our crowd! 😍

We want to give a BIG SPECIAL THANKS to Alliant Insurance Services, Inc. for their beautiful gift of $1k, Holy Family High School football, and Aspen Elementary School!

Thank you all for brightening up everyone's weekend. We love you! ❤

Here's to hoping everyone's Sunday is THIS good ... ❤

"The best way to honor those lost on 9/11 is to be the people we were on 9/12." ❤

People like THESE PEOPLE who showed up early yesterday morning to make the weekend a little brighter for Denver's kiddos.

Special thanks to Holy Family High School Varsity Football and Xcel Energy! We love it every time we get to see your smiling faces on a Friday morning. 😍

SPECIAL DELIVERY ALERT! 😍

Our fearless leader joined the East Crew today for a very special delivery. Heck, the crew even put Bob to work moving the food bins into the schools.

No rest for the wicked, Bobby! 💪😂

Yesterday morning was another great packing session, and we want to give everyone a BIG FFT THANK YOU or coming down early in the morning to make it happen for Denver's kiddos. ❤

And a SPECIAL THANKS to Natalie at Gray Law for bringing the coffee and donuts! 🍩 ☕ 😍

We are officially BACK TO THE PACK! 🎉🎒

Yesterday marked our very first packing day of the new school year, and what an incredible kickoff it was. 💥

The energy, teamwork, and smiling faces across both our MSU and East locations reminded us once again why the FFT community is so special. ❤

To every single volunteer who set an alarm, showed up early in the morning with enthusiasm, and put in the hard work: THANK YOU! Your dedication ensures Denver’s kiddos have the weekend meals they need to learn, grow, and thrive. They are just as thrilled to have us back as we are to serve them. 🍎

We could not do this mission without our AMAZING COMMUNITY of volunteers. Let’s keep this momentum rolling all year long! 💪
