Cruisin in the mountains

There are a few things with this platform that are pretty different from others im used to. There is no last round bolt hold open, so if you have a full mag ready to reload you are supposed to open the bolt yourself before putting it in. Alternatively you can download your mags to 29 rounds instead of 30. If you run dry you have to rack the bolt either way so it just makes more sense to leave the mags full and get used to opening the bolt for the reload imo. If you need some high quality dummy rounds, definitely check out ready up gear.

This is just the basic stuff I always bring with me to the range. The KSG Armory Lexington holster is the best holster I’ve found for my HK VP9. A trauma kit is also at the top of the list of things I bring, and this mountain man medical Yellowstone trauma kit has all the essentials. I have some lower tier ear pro and eye pro that does the trick, but I will be upgrading my ear pro. Lastly the tactical grit is awesome for cleaning lead and gsr off your hands. I hate making my steering wheel smell like gsr so this is an awesome solution.
