EMMA + CHANCE | GOD WINKS

Emma and Chance’s story began in the final semester of college, when two strangers were randomly placed in the same group for a spring prep course for their upcoming May term trip to New Zealand. Their first conversation centered around the best life advice they had ever received and little did they know, that conversation would be the beginning of something far greater.

Emma shared her belief in embracing every opportunity, and Chance responded by sending her Ecclesiastes 9:10. It was the first of countless little “God winks” that would continue to shape their relationship moments that felt too perfectly placed to be coincidence.

Chance made the first move, eventually said “I love you” first, and before long, the two became inseparable. Faith, family, adventure, and a deep commitment to one another became the foundation of their relationship. They became teammates, best friends, and partners who simply couldn’t imagine going a day without seeing each other.

When it came time to ask the biggest question, Chance took Emma back to where so much of their story had unfolded their college campus, to the bench where they had spent countless hours studying and spending time together. On their bench, he asked her to spend forever by his side.

From two college students brought together by chance to a couple who believes their story was handcrafted by their Creator, Emma and Chance’s love is a beautiful reminder that sometimes the most meaningful moments begin in the most unexpected ways.

Why is wedding videography so important?

As a videographer, I’m biased toward the importance of wedding videography, and I could list many reasons why. But there’s one I want to share. Recently, while making a video for my mom’s 50th birthday, I found my parents’ wedding video. Though it was an old, silent VHS with random cuts, it brought me to tears. Watching that footage meant the world to me, and one day, your wedding video will mean just as much to your children. Imagine celebrating your 50th anniversary and being able to relive your vows, hear the speeches, and see friends dancing. These are memories worth capturing for generations.
