The countdown is on! 🗳️

With less than a month to go until Election Day, here in Iowa, our bipartisan team has been hitting the ground running: knocking doors, supporting campaigns, and connecting with communities at campaign events!

Big things are happening in Iowa, and our Government Affairs team has been proud to play a role in helping make them possible.

Our bipartisan GA team worked alongside our client and key stakeholders to help secure a special legislative session, paving the way for what is expected to be the largest economic development project in Iowa’s history. With only 32 special sessions held in Iowa since its statehood, Friday’s session marked a rare and historic moment, as well as a major milestone in bringing this project to life.

We’re incredibly proud of our team’s work on this effort and grateful for everyone who helped bring this historic opportunity to Iowa!

Once again, a huge congratulations to our Partner, Demaree Donaghu! Your leadership, dedication, and hard work continue to help shape LS2group into the successful firm it is today. We’re incredibly grateful for all you do for our team and our clients!

Congratulations to Demaree Donaghu, partner at LS2group, on being recognized as runner-up for Best Up-and-Coming Business Leader by Business Record readers. https://www.businessrecord.com/best-of-des-moines-2026-winners

What an incredible milestone for our client Mesabi Metallics and our home state of Iowa!

Today's announcement of this new steel plant marks a major investment in Iowa's manufacturing future and will bring thousands of construction jobs and an estimated 1,750 permanent jobs to the state.

We're proud to celebrate this exciting next chapter and look forward to the economic opportunities and lasting impact this project will bring to Iowa.

Republican President Donald Trump will announce that Mesabi Metallics will invest $15 billion into building a steel plant in eastern Iowa. See link below ⬇️

LS2group’s Rachel Eason kicked off the 2026-2027 Leadership Minnesota class with the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce last week.

The first session brought the cohort to Greater Minnesota for tours and conversations with a family-owned manufacturer!

Congratulations to Demaree Donaghu on being voted the runner up for the 2026 DSM Business Record’s Up-and-Coming Business Leader.

We are incredibly proud to see Demaree be recognized for the leader she is. We are excited to see how she continues to grow as a leader and make an impact in our office and in our community.

Congratulations, Demaree!👏

Cheers to this past weekend's CyHawks game! LS2group celebrated with our favorite annual tradition — and this year, we turned up the heat. 🌶️🏆

Congrats to Mike and Arlo for winning this year's CyHawks Bags Tournament, and to Marissa for winning our inaugural chili cook-off!

National Voter Registration Day is a good reminder that having a seat at the table starts with making sure you’re on the voter rolls. Because in PR, we spend time discussing about the power of a message, but it's your voice that carries the most weight when you use it.

Check your registration. Know your deadlines. Make your voice count.

Strong communities start with people who show up, work hard, and make a difference.

Happy Labor Day from LS2group!
