August is National Wellness Month, a good reminder to prioritize self-care and build habits that help keep us healthy. One simple habit that makes a big difference, especially during the summer heat, is staying hydrated. With the recent heat wave across the central U.S., hydration on jobsites is more important than ever.

Last week, the Des Moines Safety Team brought fresh fruit to help workers stay hydrated. It was a great reminder to take breaks, cool off, drink water, and replenish throughout the day.

How do you help your crews stay hydrated and safe during hot weather? Share your ideas in the comments.
