Gourmet Grilled Cheese Say Cheese was created by Sydney and Jake, a niece and uncle duo. 2013 was our first full season as a food vendor.
You may have seen us at events like Bacon Fest, Valley Junction Farmer's Market, Ragbrai, Welcome Back to Walnut Street, Vintage and Made Fair, and the World Food and Music Festival. We pride ourselves in supporting other local businesses with our business. Sandwiches are made with South Union Bakery bread. Cheese and meats are from Graziano Bros. When at markets, fresh produce is often purchased from other vendors in the market to add to sandwiches. Look for Say Cheese at the Downtown Farmer's Market on Saturdays, and other events throughout Des Moines! #saycheesedsm

To be able to work with great friends, is a true gift. Lee is one of those friends. She has been with Say Cheese since the beginning and we have been truly blessed. She is one of the best humans to ever grace this planet. If you know her, you know. The Say Cheese crew has this Saturday off from the Farmers market, but join us next week for three new sandwiches through the month of October! The Souper (classic with our delicious bruschetta sauce) Hot Ham and Cheese and the Honey Badger (local honey with our garlic cheddar) All soooo goood 😋

Get your Grilled Cheese fix tomorrow morning…Classic with bacon and tomato or how about a spicy fried egg….yummmm. As always, south end of 4th by Hessen Haus 🙂 All on hand made bread from South Union. Tomatoes from Story Book Orchard, cheeses from Grazianos Bros.
