👽🚨 BREAKING NEWS FROM DES MOINES 🚨👽

Local man claims ALIENS STOLE HIS CAR KEYS. 🔑🛸

Witnesses say he checked his pockets 14 times, looked under the couch twice, blamed his wife once, questioned the dog… and finally accepted the only logical explanation:

ALIENS. 👽😂

The aliens released a statement:

"We only took the key because he didn't have a spare." 🛸🔑

Even the dog tried to warn him. 🐶

So in honor of Wonderful Weirdos Day, we want to know:

👇 What’s the WEIRDEST place you’ve ever lost or found your keys?

Freezer? 🧊
Trash can? 🗑️
Bathroom? 🚽
Still hanging in the front door? 😳
Somewhere you’re too embarrassed to admit? 😂

We want to hear it!

And remember…

👽 Aliens stealing your keys? Weird.
🔑 Only having ONE car key? Even weirder.

Get a spare BEFORE your key gets beamed up. 🛸

Happy Wonderful Weirdos Day!

🔑 DES MOINES — I NEED ONE KIA SELTOS OWNER! 🚗

515 Locksmith has an opportunity to test a refurbished OEM Kia key, and instead of just looking for a test vehicle, I figured I’d see if one of our Facebook followers could benefit from it.

I’m looking for someone with a:

👉 2021–2022 Kia Seltos
👉 Using OEM key/remote #95440-Q5400

Here’s the deal:

If your vehicle is a match, I’ll make you a replacement/spare key at a HEAVILY discounted price in exchange for allowing us to document the programming process and provide feedback on how the key performs.

The key needs to be programmed and tested within the next 7 days, so I’m looking for someone fairly quickly.

⚠️ Only ONE spot available, and we’ll need to verify your current key/vehicle first to make sure it’s compatible.

Know somebody with a 2021–2022 Kia Seltos? Tag them below! 👇

Or send 515 Locksmith a message with a picture of your current key and we'll see if it's a match.

This could be a pretty sweet deal for the right Seltos owner. 🔑🚗

Alright Des Moines… we made it. 😂

Labor Day weekend is officially behind us, and somehow we’re already at the end of Tuesday.

How’s everybody feeling?

Labor Day has been celebrated for well over 100 years as a day to recognize the hard work and contributions of American workers 🇺🇸 and sometimes I think the best way to honor that is pretty simple — take a day to slow down and enjoy the people you work so hard for.

That’s what we tried to do.

For us, Labor Day was about slowing down a little, spending time with family, enjoying the extra day, and trying not to think too much about work. 😂 It was nice to reset for a minute before jumping back into another busy week.

And now here we are… Tuesday at 5 PM wondering how a 3-day weekend can somehow feel like it lasted about 6 hours. 😂

So what did YOU do for Labor Day weekend?

Did you have a cookout? 🍔 Spend time with family? Get out of town? 🚗 Work on a project? Or did you proudly do absolutely NOTHING? 😂

👇 Tell us the best part of your weekend. We’d really like to hear what everyone around Des Moines was up to.

Hope you had a great Labor Day and an even better week ahead. ❤️🇺🇸

🔑😂 OKAY, DES MOINES… BE HONEST! 😂🔑

We’re settling a very important debate at 515 Locksmith today…

👇 WHERE DO YOU USUALLY LOSE YOUR KEYS? 👇

🏠 A. I put them in the SAME place every day… and somehow they disappear. 😂

🚗 B. Somewhere inside my vehicle. Don’t ask me why. 🤦‍♀️

👜 C. My purse/bag has become the Bermuda Triangle of keys. 🌪️🔑

👖 D. I swear they were in my pocket… but nope!

👶 E. My kids moved them and will NEVER admit it. 😂

🐶 F. The dog probably knows where they are.

😎 G. I NEVER lose my keys. I’m responsible. 👀😂

DROP YOUR LETTER IN THE COMMENTS! 👇

Business Lockout? Sometimes the Best Locksmith Tool Is the One That Prevents Drilling. 🔑🏢

This staff member found himself locked out of his office — and unfortunately, the coat hanger wasn’t getting him very far. 😅

The bigger problem? He discovered that none of the keys provided by the builder actually worked that particular door lock. By the time he realized it, he was already locked out.

This wasn’t a standard lockout. The office door had a high-security keyway, which required multiple specialized locksmith tools and the right technique to gain entry without drilling or damaging the lock.

We were able to get the door open without damaging the lock, allowing the customer to continue using the existing lock normally after the job was completed.

And most importantly — he was a very happy customer!

🔐 A quick tip for business owners, property managers, and new commercial tenants:
When you receive keys for a new office or commercial property, test every key in every lock before you actually need it. A key that looks right doesn't necessarily mean it operates the lock.

If you're dealing with a commercial office lockout, high-security lockout, or business lockout, 515 Locksmith can help with professional, non-destructive entry whenever the lock and circumstances allow.

📍 Serving local businesses and property owners with professional locksmith services.

Locked out of your business? Don't reach for the coat hanger — call a locksmith who has the specialized tools and experience to handle the job properly.
