NGS Principle No. 5 👇🏽

𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗻𝗼𝗯𝗼𝗱𝘆 𝘂𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝗳𝘁𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲.

The best-built system in the world is worthless if people find it confusing and quietly go back to the old way. Adoption isn't an afterthought — it's the whole point. If people won't use it, it didn't work.

Ever paid for a tool your team never actually adopted?

NGS Principle No. 4 👇🏽

𝗔𝗜 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀𝗻'𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲. 𝗜𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸.

The fear is that AI takes jobs. What I actually see it do: take the tedious, draining tasks off people's plates so they can spend their time on the work that needs judgment, creativity, and a human touch.

What repetitive task would you hand off first?

Off the clock, still gorgeous. 👒🌸

Yesterday I had such a beautiful time at the Hello Gorgeous Big Hat Tea Party. A room full of beautiful women, fabulous hats, laughter, conversation, and a reminder that sometimes you really do need to slow down, get dressed up, and simply enjoy the moment. 🤎

I spend a lot of my time building, learning, working, and thinking about what’s next - so days like this are a good reminder to make room for the life we’re working so hard to build.

And yes… apparently I take “Big Hat” very seriously. 😂👒

NGS Principle No. 3 👇🏽

𝗗𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗮 𝗯𝗿𝗼𝗸𝗲𝗻 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 — 𝗳𝗶𝘅 𝗶𝘁 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁.

Automating something broken doesn't fix it. It just scales the problem. Before I recommend a single tool, I look at whether the process itself is sound. Nine times out of ten, that's where the real improvement lives.

What's one process you've been tempted to "just automate"?

Kicking off a little series I'm sharing over the next few weeks — here's #2. This one comes up with almost every client. 👇🏾

NGS Principle No. 2 👇🏽

𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗳𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗶𝘀 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿.

This is the one people skip. They rush to add a tool on top of a messy process — and just make the mess run faster. Get the workflow clear first, and half the problem usually solves itself before any automation.

Where's the murkiest process in your business right now?
