We have some amazing news……
RODEO SCALES WILL BE OPEN AGAIN MONDAY, OCTOBER 12th at 10am!!!
Thanks to an amazing crew of volunteers, the barge is back, bleachers are in place, the leaderboard is getting straightened back up and the scale is hanging again. The merch trailer is also getting restocked.
We’ll see you tomorrow on the docks behind AJ's Seafood & Oyster Bar!!!

Well, that was…… whew! Destin took a direct hit and we now have a bit of a gangster lean to the leaderboard but we’ll be back soon! Once power is restored, the boats are back home, everything is secured, and we’re given the all clear, we’ll get the show on the road again. Thinking of everyone one and hoping your damage was minimal.

Looks like Mother Nature is trying to reel in the biggest catch of the Rodeo!

Due to the impending arrival of Hurricane Isaias, the 78th Annual Destin Fishing Rodeo scales are CLOSED Thursday, October 8th at 12:30pm until further notice.

The safety of our anglers, volunteers, staff, and spectators is always our top priority.

We’ll keep everyone updated as the storm progresses and let you know when it's safe to get back to weighing in those big catches!

Until then, secure your boats, batten down the hatches, and stay safe, Destin! ⚓️

The fish aren't going anywhere, and neither is the Rodeo spirit!
