This Florida Gulf Coast county is sinking ships as reefs. Will it lure more visitors to Destin? Leaders near Destin and Fort Walton Beach, Fla., are sinking hundreds of structures as artificial reefs in an effort to build new ecosystems and reshape the economy on Florida’s Gulf Coast. Soon, they are planning to sink their largest and most controversial reef yet.

Hope you are enjoying your summer. If you'd like to enjoy it a bit more, there is a prime slot available in July. Get your kids' feet in the sand before they have to put their noses in the books.
