Shakespeare in Detroit is excited to announce the return of our Youth Conservatory for its sixth production and seventh year of Shakespeare STEAM.

This summer, our talented conservatory students will take on The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged) [Revised] [Again]—a hilarious, fast-paced journey through the Bard's entire canon.

This year's Conservatory was especially competitive, with more than 90 students auditioning for a limited number of spots. Congratulations to the students selected to participate in this year's program!

The performance will be presented as a special one-day-only event and admission is free.

Congratulations to Bill Rauch and Zhailon Levingston on winning the Tony Award for Best Direction of a Musical for Cats: The Jellicle Ball.

Bill served as Artistic Director of Oregon Shakespeare Festival during Shakespeare in Detroit Founder Sam White's tenure as the 2017 Paul Nicholson Arts Management Fellow in Ashland, Oregon.

We celebrate this extraordinary achievement and the continued impact of visionary theatre leaders across the American theatre landscape.
