🧀 Clay isn't the only thing we're building this fall.
Soul Amazing Graze is bringing their Basic Charcuterie Class to the studio, and we're opening the space for it.
Chef Crystal and Chef Robin will walk you through board building basics, ingredient pairings, and how to balance color and texture so a board actually looks the way you imagined it.
No experience needed. This one is built for beginners!
You'll leave with your own 8x10 board and the skills to do it again at your next gathering. Materials are included, and there's a complimentary glass of w**e while you work.
Spots are limited.

✨ 13 Years of Art in Motion ✨
Some seasons ask more of you than others, and this one asked plenty!
The door opened every day. People walked in, sat down, put their hands in clay, and looked up smiling. That has been a source of constant joy! 🏺
Year 13 was a year of trying things. We tried our drop-in series and brought art therapy into the studio.
We also held onto what we already knew was good. Valentine's Day, Sweetest Day, couples on the wheel. Summer Potter's Camp, where wheel throwing filled up so fast we added an afternoon session to make room for everybody who wanted in. 💫
The highlight, though, was NCECA. I came back full, and what stayed with me was who I ran into there. My former student got me registered. My former intern moderated a panel. And I closed out the conference by opening an artist who taught his very first sculpture class right here at Art in Motion over ten years ago. Thirteen years of people coming through these doors, and now I'm meeting them out in the world doing the thing. 💙
Thirteen years of this. Every hand, every heart, every piece of clay that has come through these doors.
Thank you for walking with us. Here's to 13, and to whatever we build next. 🗿
