🌳 Expert Tree Trimming in Eugene, Oregon 🌳
Another successful tree trimming project completed for a local property management company in Eugene, Oregon! This mature pear tree was carrying an exceptionally heavy fruit load, creating excessive weight over the home’s service power lines and requiring careful structural pruning.
Our crew focused on:
✅ Rebalancing the tree to reduce limb stress and improve long-term health.
✅ Increasing clearance over the driveway and alley parking for safer vehicle access.
✅ Raising the canopy to improve sidewalk head clearance and pedestrian safety.
✅ Removing hazardous overextended limbs while maintaining the tree’s natural appearance.
✅ Performing a meticulous cleanup so the property was left looking better than when we arrived.
Property managers trust Three Peaks Tree Service LLC because we understand that every job reflects on everyone involved. We take the extra time to protect tenant relationships through professional communication, safe work practices, and exceptional cleanup—helping keep property managers, tenants, and owners happy.

Sometimes, a tree’s roots can cause more trouble than meets the eye. We were called in to remove a silver maple with invasive roots that were starting to impact the property. After carefully taking down the tree and grinding out the stump, we prepared the soil and planted a Japanese maple as a beautiful, non-invasive replacement to meet HOA requirements.
We also cleaned up every bit of debris and gave a couple of shrubs and maples some light pruning. Now this yard is safer, healthier, and ready for the long run.
🐝 Stepped on a bee barefoot today… not my favorite experience. 😅
Luckily, nature had a remedy nearby. 🌿 Broadleaf plantain is a common “weed” that many people use to help soothe a fresh bee sting. Crush a leaf, apply it to the sting, and let nature do its thing. (If you’re allergic to bee stings, seek medical care immediately.)
I love sharing practical outdoor tips like this—not just tree work. Hopefully this helps someone the next time they’re outside!

Sometimes a tree leans just a bit too far for comfort.
We were called to Eugene to safely remove a 100-foot Oregon Ash that was putting pressure on a home's foundation and causing cracks throughout the house. Every section of the tree had to be rigged and lowered with care to avoid any damage to the neighbor's fence and property. Once the tree was down, we chipped all the smaller branches, hauled off the bigger wood, and made sure every bit of debris was cleared away. Stump grinding followed to finish the job and prep the area for whatever comes next.
We take pride in leaving the space safer and cleaner than when we arrived.
🚨 These 4 Douglas fir trees were already dead… it was only a matter of time before one failed. 🌲💥
This project took us to Pleasant Hill, Oregon, where four mature Douglas firs had succumbed to years of drought stress and attacks from the fir engraver beetle. Dead trees like these become increasingly brittle and unpredictable, making them a serious hazard to homes, vehicles, and anyone nearby.
Watch the entire job from start to finish as we safely remove each tree, protect the property, and leave the site clean.
If your fir trees have:
🍂 Brown or thinning needles
🪵 Bark falling off
🐞 Signs of beetle damage
🌲 Dead tops or large dead limbs
…don’t wait until the next windstorm. Have them inspected before they become a costly emergency.
📍 Proudly serving Pleasant Hill, Eugene, Springfield, Dexter, Creswell, Cottage Grove, and communities throughout Lane County.

🔥 Fire Mitigation Spotlight – Eugene South Hills 🔥
This week, Three Peaks Tree Service completed fire mitigation work on this beautiful Giant Sequoia in the Eugene South Hills.
By removing lower limbs and increasing vertical separation between vegetation and the home, we helped create more defensible space around the property while preserving the health and beauty of the tree.
Many homeowners don’t realize that ladder fuels—low branches, shrubs, and vegetation beneath large trees—can allow fire to climb from the ground into the canopy and spread rapidly. Strategic pruning reduces that risk and can improve emergency access for firefighters.
The goal isn’t to remove every tree—it’s to make your property more resilient while maintaining the character of your landscape.
