Dover Public Library

How many seed packets did we give away in 2026? The answer is 6,517! The closest guess was 10,002 packets. Over the past 5 years, we have given out 19,494 seed packets! The Seed Library is closed for the winter, but check back in March 2027 to get more seeds for your spring gardens.

Just a few more days to submit your guesses of how many seed packets were given away by our Seed Library this year! On Wednesday, we will announce who was the closest. Hint: All of the guesses so far have been too low.

Tonight's Tween Thursday: Inside the Egg program has been cancelled.

Our Seed Library is closing down for the season, but we still have plenty of seeds available! Stop by the second floor and take as many seeds as you want - we won't be restocking until next spring.

In celebration of another successful season, we invite you to play a game with us! Correctly guess how many seed packets were given away this year and you could win a DPL mug! Please enter guesses at https://bit.ly/DPLSeeds

Update: The Library's power has been restored.

This is affecting the Library so we are closing until power is restored.
