Parish of the assumption, served dinner this evening at the DFK featuring chicken and vegetable Ramen noodle dinner along with a garden salad and various desserts.

Tonight Saint Joseph’s DFK team served up jumbo hotdogs, tator tots, watermelon and feta salad with balsamic vinegar and various homemade desserts.

Last Thursday volunteers served 60 meals for the guest at DFK. They started with a fresh fruit salad consisting of cantaloupe, honeydew, green & red seedless grapes, pineapple, strawberries and blueberries.

For main course they were served grilled chicken in brioche roll, sliced tomatoes & lettuce, pasta salad, watermelon & chips.

Dessert was a Hoodsie Cup for in-house meals & cookies for take-out meals.
