Sigh, sometimes dealing with bureaucracy, customs etc. is very, very trying and tiring. My custom order of swanlike headpieces made it all the way to Austria, was held there for two weeks, and now they are flying back home.

Working on patterns for a special project for my daughter who is getting married in May. Not her wedding dress, but a copy of a vintage dress my mother made (Vogue couture design 1002), which she is hoping to wear as a reception dress. Drawing patterns is hard and not really my “ thing”, but it’s the only way to achieve what I want.
I am also working on a pretty sparkly pin to go on her veil. I finished her veil ( using some special Italian tulle my mother gave me before she passed away). All together there will be something old, new, borrowed and blue, for her special day.
