Our family owned and operated Funeral home has been serving our community for over 165 years. Did you know on the 3rd floor of the Funeral Home we had one of the first switch board operators for the then new telephone in Morris county? In fact we still have our original phone number (973)366-0382 of course the number grew over time just like us. The original number was just #382. For the time this was a great innovation because we’re ever O.B. Smith was out in the community the operator knew the nearest telephone to get a message to him for any emergencies that the ambulance or funeral home had to respond to. Technology has come a long way.
