Please be aware of the cyclists & traffic this coming weekend for the Amish Country Bike Tour! 🚴

If you live in the West Dover area and you see one of these signs this week on a road that you drive on, that's letting you know that there will be thousands of people riding bicycles on Saturday on that road. Please consider if you can avoid that road on Saturday morning (October 10). If that's not possible for you, however, please at least be mentally prepared to drive slowly and extra carefully. Expect delays...and give yourself just a little bit of extra time to get wherever you're going.

The Amish Country Bike Tour is quickly approaching! Online registration for “the ride for pie” cycling event is open until 10/7/26. This bike tour offers 16, 25, 50, 62, & 100 miles of unique scenery, winding through central Delaware’s peaceful Amish countryside! All routes will leave from Legislative Mall in Dover, Delaware. 🚴 🥧
