BUILD IT - You work with one expert design-build team and our designers collect a stunning assortment of materials based on your style and budget. LOVE IT - Enjoy your hand-crafted, custom-designed new space and know that we treat your home the way we treat our own, with care.
Renovating your home can quickly become overwhelming when you’re trying to coordinate designers, contractors, selections, schedules, budgets, and countless decisions on your own.
That’s where a design-build team changes the experience.
With design and construction working together under one roof, your project is planned with the full picture in mind from the beginning. Decisions can be made earlier, potential challenges can be addressed before they reach the jobsite, and you have one team guiding your project from the first conversation through the final walkthrough.
Compared with managing a DIY renovation or coordinating separate professionals yourself, that level of collaboration can save valuable time, reduce costly miscommunication, and make the entire process feel far more manageable.

Knowing how to tackle projects around your home starts with knowing what you can confidently DIY and when it’s time to call in a professional.
Beth Allen, owner of DIY HIP Chicks, joined us on Elevate & Renovate to talk about where that line falls and why understanding your own skill level is such an important part of being a confident homeowner.
That same idea is at the heart of our upcoming LaDIYs Who Brunch seminar. We’re creating a space for women to build practical skills, gain confidence around their homes, and better understand both what they can handle themselves and what to look for when hiring someone to help.
Ready to feel more confident tackling projects around your home? Join us Saturday, October 17 from 11:30 AM–1:30 PM for LaDIYs Who Brunch. Brunch is included for all registrants! Seats are VERY limited, and registration is required for attendance.

The kitchen and primary bath were only the beginning. Now, we’re taking you through the rest of this whole-home transformation!
While each space has its own personality and purpose, there’s a clear design language that carries throughout the home. Warm wood tones move from the staircase and architectural beams into the mudroom and primary suite, while deeper, moodier finishes add contrast throughout. Black accents, brass details, layered textures, and natural materials continue to reappear in new ways from room to room.
From one room to the next, the details shift to suit how each space is used, while the recurring materials, colors, and finishes create a natural sense of continuity throughout the home. And there’s no shortage of personality here! From custom storage and millwork to refreshed architectural details and spaces designed around the family’s everyday routines, this remodel gave the home a distinct new character while adding functionality at every turn.

When it comes to a luxury kitchen, there are plenty of upgrades worth considering, but which ones would our Lead Designer choose when they go head-to-head?
We put Alyssa through a rapid-fire kitchen trend face-off, comparing everything from full-height stone backsplashes and statement range hoods to hidden pantries, paneled appliances, workstation sinks, custom cabinetry features, and more.
The best part? There is rarely one universal “right” choice. The features that make the biggest impact are the ones that support how you cook, entertain, organize, and live in your kitchen every day.
Which trend do you think should have won the gauntlet? Comment below and tell us which one you’d choose for your dream kitchen!
Thinking about an addition? There’s more to consider than square footage alone.
We asked our Project Consultant, Mike, to break down three common misconceptions homeowners often hear when they first start exploring an addition.
1. Price per square foot can be a helpful starting point, but it doesn’t tell the full story. A 500-square-foot living room addition can look very different from a 500-square-foot bathroom addition when it comes to materials, plumbing, fixtures, and overall scope.
2. There can also be costs outside of the addition itself. Depending on your property and municipality, things like zoning requirements, septic upgrades, site preparation, or stormwater management may need to be factored into the project.
3. Adding space doesn’t always mean building out. In the right home, building up, such as adding space above a garage, can open up possibilities you may not have considered.
With today’s housing market, we’re seeing more homeowners explore additions as a way to stay in the neighborhood they love and the home where they’ve made memories, while creating the extra space and function they need for what comes next.
Could an addition give your home the room it needs to grow with you? Call or click the link in our bio to schedule your appointment today and talk with our expert team about the possibilities for your home.

Tile played a major role in some of our favorite projects this year, and the variety says a lot about where design is heading.
Across kitchens and bathrooms, we saw clients lean into finishes with more depth, texture, and personality. Glossy handcrafted-look tiles brought subtle movement to backsplashes and showers, while deep greens and charcoal tones created richer, moodier moments. Geometric and patterned selections added visual interest, and marble-look surfaces continued to bring a timeless, elevated feel.
We also saw faux-wood tile show up in multiple projects, giving clients the warmth and organic character of wood with the durability and practicality of tile. From more natural grain patterns to linear applications that add texture, it’s a great example of how materials can balance style with everyday function.
One of the biggest takeaways from this year is that tile is being treated less like a background material and more like part of the overall design story. Color, texture, pattern, and finish are all being used to make each space feel more personal while still keeping the home cohesive.
Which tile style would you bring into your own home? Call or click the link in our bio to schedule your appointment today and talk with our expert team about the finishes that can bring your next project to life!
Bold or neutral? The best answer might be somewhere in between.
In this clip from Elevate & Renovate, Mike and Julie break down what we’re seeing across the industry and with our own clients: homeowners are embracing personality, but with a thoughtful eye toward how each choice works within the home as a whole.
That might mean introducing a bold cabinet color on an island instead of throughout the entire kitchen, carrying a statement finish into smaller accents, or pairing stronger design choices with quieter elements so the space still feels balanced and cohesive.
Great design doesn’t mean playing it safe or going bold everywhere. It means knowing where to make an impact and how to tie those decisions together throughout your home.
