A Wagging Good Time

🍂🐾 Happy First Day of Fall from A Wagging Good Time! 🐾🍂

The calendar says FALL… Texas says, “That’s cute.” 😂🔥

We’re ready for crisp morning walks, crunchy leaves, pumpkin everything, and cool porch sittin’ with the pups.

Instead, we’ve got warm sidewalks, tongues hanging out, water bowls on repeat, and pups wondering where this “sweater weather” everyone keeps talking about is. 😂🐶

But hey… we’ll take our fall wherever we can get it—even if it’s pumpkin spice with a side of 90 degrees! 🎃☀️

Here’s hoping Mother Nature gets the memo soon!

🐾 Did you know we offer Puppy Daycare too? 🐾 Belle & Willow had the best day hanging out in all our usual spots—playing, soaking up lots of love, and of course squeezing in some very important puppy naps! 🥰🐶💤 Because daycare should feel like a home away from home. ❤️🐾 #happywagging #dogsofinstagram #doglife #awagginggoodtime

Dogs played a very important role in 911!

Trackr and his handler, James Symington, were able to discover the last survivor of the September 11 attacks. Survivor Genelle Guzman-McMillan had been making her way down the stairs when the building collapsed around her. She was trapped for 27 hours beneath the concrete and rubble until Trakr was able to alert the firefighters to her location, saving her life.

Before Trakr passed away in 2009, his DNA was entered into, and won, a DNA cloning review. In June of that year, five Trakr clones were born! All five of these puppies, Trustt, Solace, Valor, Prodigy, and Déjà vu, are continuing his legacy by working as search and rescue dogs.

Sometimes I stop and think…how lucky are we to have dogs? 🐾❤️ We get to walk beside them, care for them, play with them, spoil them, laugh at their silly personalities and love them through every stage of their lives. And somehow, in return, they give us SO much more. Unconditional love. Companionship. Comfort. Joy. And a whole lot of wagging tails. 🥹 At A Wagging Good Time, we don’t just walk dogs or care for pets—we get to become a little part of their world. We learn their quirks, their favorite walking spots, what makes their tails wag and exactly where they like their scratches. 🐶🐾 What a privilege it is to be trusted with someone’s four-legged family member. Take the walk. Throw the ball. Give the extra treat. Let them stop and sniff. Take the picture. ❤️ Because one thing is certain… We are the lucky ones. 🐾 — A Wagging Good Time 🐶❤️ #AWaggingGoodTime #TheLuckyOnes #DogsAreFamily #DogWalkerLife #PetSitterLife LoveOnFourPaws DrippingSpringsDogs WaggingTails
