Country Pumpkins

Hello! We'd like to take a moment to reintroduce ourselves! We are the Colson Family, owners of Country Pumpkins in Dry Ridge, KY!

Country Pumpkins was started by Dean and Debbie along with some other relatives in 2000 as a simple roadside pumpkin sales business. By 2010, we grew to a complete fall festival with hayrides, corn mazes, etc. Matt (Dean and Debbie's son) and Shelley and their children joined the business in 2012. Each year we work very hard to improve and grow our business and add new activities! It has become a year round labor of love to prepare for each fall season.

When we first moved the operation from our original location to back our gravel lane in 2012, we feared no one would come. But we stepped out on faith, built a shelter and went for it. Spoiler alert, YOU CAME! It's so wild looking back at old photos and seeing how far we've come over the years.

We love watching families come to our farm to make their fall memories......for many it's become a family tradition and it brings us SO much joy to be part of that. Thank you for visiting us. 🎃 Week Night Activities🎃 Today is the first night of our new week night hours! We have lots of play areas, corn mazes, paintball shooting gallery, petting zoo, pumpkins, and snack concessions available on week nights! (Closed Tuesdays & Wednesdays this season.) We also run hayrides and barrel train rides on Fridays after 5pm.

We'll be open the following week night hours through November 1st:
🕛 Monday: 4-7pm
🕛 Tuesday: CLOSED
🕛 Wednesday: CLOSED
🕛 Thursday: 4-7pm
🕛 Friday: 2-7pm

The recommended Monday and Thursday week night ticket would be our $10 Pumpkin Ridge Pass!

*WEEKLY GIVEAWAY* Thank you to everyone who came out this past weekend! We had wonderful weather and a huge turn out for our Fall Vendor Fair! Thank you for coming and supporting us and our vendors! Now we're gearing up for another amazing weekend of fall fun. Plus, this week we start new weeknight hours. We'll be open on Monday 4-7pm, Thursday 4-7pm, and Friday 2-7pm. THIS WEEKEND AT COUNTRY PUMPKINS:
🍁Friday, 10/2 we'll be open from 2pm - 7pm with our petting zoo and play areas. Hayrides and barrel train rides will begin after 5pm. Limited concessions like soft pretzels, mini donuts, and slushies will be available.
🌼Saturday, 10/3 we will be open from 10am - 7pm. All our fall festival activities and concessions will be open. U-Pick Pumpkin Hayrides will run at 11, 12:30, 2, 3:30, and 4pm.
🎃Sunday, 10/4 we will have our festival activities and concessions open from 12pm - 5pm. U-Pick Pumpkin Hayrides will run at 1pm, 2:30pm, and 4pm.

📍We are located at 1835 Sherman Mt. Zion Road in Dry Ridge, KY. We are 10 minutes off of I-75 just 45 minutes south of Downtown Cincinnati.

Happy Sunday! It’s been a wild weekend and we have a lot to share! For now, we have a quick mum update!!!!

We have an extremely limited supply of mums left today. We also have some “scratch and dent” mums left (what’s shown here, plus more) that we are marking down to 50% off! These are mums that are split or damaged in some way. Still pretty depending on how you plan to display them!

We are open 12-5 today, Sunday 9/27!

Saturday, 9/26 from 10-4 is our Fall Vendor Fair!!! 50 vendors. Free admission and parking.

***Activity of the Week*** Each Thursday we will be highlighting one of the fun activities at our farm. This week it's the reveal of our NEW GIANT SLIDES BUILDING!!!

You may remember we did something wild just 8 days before opening this season.....we tore down the old tent and slide platform, and our friend Eddie Mendoza and his crew came in a built this huge, gorgeous new building for our Giant Slides. It combines slide platforms, picnic seating, and shelter for our Corn Wagon. It was completed just 3 days before we opened! Whew!

The Giant Slides are located in the Pumpkin Ridge area of our farm along with multiple other play areas and our petting zoo. You can access this area with a Pumpkin Ridge Pass, Fun Pass, or Mega Ticket!

Also, big shoutout to our sponsor, Wilker Design Co. for taking our jumbled thoughts and idea and combining them into this magnificent structure. We are thrilled with it and NEVER could have come up with anything like this on our own!
