Trading Places

After a great deal of reflection, I’ve made the decision that Trading Places will not be reopening under my ownership.

For 17 years, this business has been so much more than a store. It’s been filled with incredible customers, consignors, employees, friendships, and memories I’ll always cherish.

While this chapter is coming to a close for me, I truly believe Trading Places still has an incredible future.

Trading Places is officially for sale, and I’m searching for the right person to carry its legacy forward. With a trusted brand, loyal community, proven systems, and room to grow, it’s an amazing opportunity for someone ready to make it their own.

If you’ve ever dreamed of owning a business, or know someone who has, I’d love to connect. A Business Sales Flyer and Business Ownership Packet are available for serious buyers. Please message me privately for more information.

One last favor: if Trading Places has ever been part of your story, please consider sharing this post. Your share could help us find the perfect person to write the next chapter.

Thank you for 17 unforgettable years. ❤️

With gratitude,

After a great deal of reflection and soul-searching, I have made the decision that Trading Places will not be relocating or reopening a new storefront under my ownership.

This was not a decision I made lightly.

For 17 years, Trading Places has been far more than a business to me. I built it from the ground up, watched it grow and formed relationships with so many wonderful customers, consignors, employees and community partners. The business has been part of my life through many personal highs and lows, and I will always be grateful for every memory, lesson and connection.

As I considered the next chapter of the business and my own life, I realized that I am ready to hand the torch to someone new.

𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈 𝐚𝐦 𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝.

The foundation is strong: a trusted brand, loyal customers and consignors, proven systems, an established online presence and tremendous potential for a thoughtful relaunch and future growth.

I would be honored to mentor and guide the right buyer, whether that is someone who has always dreamed of owning a business or an established entrepreneur who sees the opportunity to build upon what we created.

My hope is that this is not the end of Trading Places, but the beginning of a new chapter under someone who understands how much this business has meant to our customers, consignors and community.

A Business Sales Flyer and detailed Business Ownership Packet are available for serious prospective buyers. Please contact me privately for additional information.

One last photo! Trading Places team, signing off🧡

You asked for years.

We always said no.

Until now.

As we prepare for our final days at our store, we are selling some of our best store fixtures, displays, staging pieces, and merchandising items.

These are the pieces customers, vendors, retailers, stagers, and business owners have asked about again and again, and this is the first time they are available.

Perfect for boutiques, booths, pop-ups, retail stores, staging, resale shops, creative spaces, organizing, and display.

Quantities are limited.
First come, first served.
Once they’re gone, they’re gone.

We only have **3 selling days left**.
Last day to shop: **Sunday, June 7**.

Browse the photos, stop in soon, and tag someone who needs these pieces.

Everything must go!
