It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of our friend and colleague, Bert, following his courageous battle with cancer.

For the past six years, Bert has been an integral part of the Virtual Properties Realty family. As one of our respected Managing Brokers and our first bilingual broker, he made an immeasurable impact on our company, our agents, and the communities we serve. Bert generously shared his wisdom, knowledge, and experience with everyone around him, always leading with patience, integrity, and a genuine desire to help others succeed.

His dedication to supporting our bilingual Spanish agents helped build a thriving and welcoming community within VPR. He was a mentor, an advocate, and a trusted leader whose influence will continue to be felt for years to come.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Bert was a devoted family man. He cherished his wife, children, and grandchildren, and often spoke with pride about the time they spent together. He loved cruising with his family and creating memories with those he loved most.

Bert was the kind of leader you could always count on. He never backed down from a challenge, always stepped forward when someone needed help, and consistently put the needs of others before his own. Whether you were an agent seeking guidance, a colleague facing a difficult situation, or simply someone who needed encouragement, Bert was there with a steady hand, a listening ear, and a caring heart.

His legacy is one of service, compassion, leadership, and unwavering commitment to those around him. While our hearts are saddened by this tremendous loss, we are grateful for the time we had with him and the lasting impact he made on so many lives.

Please keep Bert's wife, children, grandchildren, and all who loved him in your thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time.

Bert will be deeply missed, but he will never be forgotten.

It is with great sadness that I share the passing of our dear colleague, Trish Russo, who passed away Tuesday morning.

For the past nine years, Trish has been an important part of our VPR family. Her energy, warmth, and enthusiasm helped shape the culture of our Peachtree City office, where she played a vital role in managing our post-closing department and contributing to the office’s growth and success. More than her professional contributions, Trish was a friend and teammate whose presence brightened the days of those around her.

The impact she had on our organization and the relationships she built over the years will not be forgotten. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and working alongside her.

During this difficult time, we ask that you keep Trish’s family, friends, and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers. May they find comfort in the many cherished memories they shared with her and in the lasting legacy she leaves behind.
