Diapers, hygiene items, baby essentials, everything families need, loaded and ready to go. Our partners do the work. We make sure they're equipped. That's how it works. 🩷

Family stability isn't a luxury. It's the foundation that shapes everything else. In Atlanta, the data is clear: nearly 1 in 3 children are growing up in single-parent households, many navigating education gaps and economic instability at the same time. These aren't just statistics. They're the kids sitting in classrooms across our community right now.
We partner with agencies who are already serving these families. Our role is to make sure those agencies have the supplies and support they need to help. None of this work happens without community backing like yours. 🩷

The Helping Mamas Team Challenge is back and bigger than ever! From September 1 through October 2, corporate teams, small businesses, and community groups will rally together to support families who need diapers most. And we are calling on you!!

We were so honored to be part of the Gwinnett County DFCS Back to School Health Fair this past Saturday. 🩷 Our team was on the ground distributing period supplies, diapers, and back to school supplies to families across Gwinnett County. Events like this one are exactly why we do what we do. Getting essentials directly into the hands of families who need them, right in the heart of our community.
Thank you Juneau Construction Company!! Their team assembled 93 Gift of a Change kits, and in doing that, they made sure 93 babies have access to essentials and 93 families have real relief.
Corporate partnership looks like this—showing up, getting your hands involved, and building something meaningful together. We're grateful to work alongside you.

Halfway through 2026, and the numbers tell the story: over 72,000 clients served, nearly 2.3 million essential items distributed, and 2,256 volunteers showing up across our offices. But numbers alone don't capture what this means. Every diaper, every period product, every wipe represents one less impossible choice for a family. We're scaling access, and we're meeting families exactly where they are. Thank you for being part of this work.

Missing class is not just an inconvenience. It is falling behind on lessons, missing instruction, and slowly disconnecting from the learning experience every student deserves. Period poverty is an education issue, a dignity issue, and a community issue.
At Helping Mamas we are working every day to make sure that no student in our community has to choose between going to school and managing their period. You can help us close that gap.
July was full of incredible people showing up for Helping Mamas Atlanta. 🩷 A huge thank you to our volunteers from Google, Morgan Stanley, and our Second Saturday crew, Holy Name of Jesus and a few individuals, for giving their time and energy to our mission this month.
