236 miles. Six mountain towns. Zero bad views. 😍⛰️🍂
The San Juan Skyway is one of those drives that makes you pull over every ten minutes!
The loop runs Durango → Silverton → Ouray → Ridgway → Telluride → Dolores → back to Durango, threading through aspen groves, mining ghost towns, and San Juan peaks that look lifted straight from a painting.
The whole loop takes 4-5 hours straight through, but the towns deserve time.
We have homes in nearly every town along this loop. Stay a night in Durango, another in Ouray, and do this drive the way it deserves. Slow and unhurried.

Purgatory Resort. Wolf Creek. Schweitzer. Mt. Bachelor. Vail country. These are the mountains we're already getting questions about, which means the best homes near them won't be available by the time everyone else gets serious in November.

🍂✨ Two completely different places. Same invitation.
In the Northwoods of Wisconsin, late September means maple red and birch gold reflecting off lakes that finally have room to breathe.
Up in North Idaho, Coeur d'Alene, Schweitzer, the Sandpoint corridor. It's a different palette but the same feeling. Larch gold. Mountain air.
A shoulder season that rewards the people who show up for it.

Fiesta de Santa Fe is happening now, one of the oldest community celebrations in the country and genuinely one of those things you have to see to understand.
And then the Santa Fe W**e & Chile Fiesta runs September 22-27, a full week of food, w**e, and everything that makes this city unlike anywhere else.
The adobe is glowing. The air is perfect. The green chile is roasting.
