Bluegrouse is a harmony-vocal heavy bluegrass/folk band based in Durango CO. Bluegrouse. Hmm. Is it a bird? A plane? A spelling error? A band?
Let’s say a combination of all three. These peeps have been playing music in various Durango area bands throughout the years. But just like birds of a feather, band buddies eventually find each other. Since 2015, Bluegrouse has been delivering their spirited, high energy musicianship and outstanding vocal harmonies to audiences and riverbanks of all ages. Combining bluegrass favorites, folk, country and swing, they offer something for everyone to enjoy. These folks know how to have fun both on and off stage. 3 GOOD REASONS TO COME SEE BLUEGROUSE AT DURANGO HOT SPRINGS ON TUES AUG 11……
1. It’s been hotter than a Billy goat in a pepper patch! The hot pools at DHS will make the relative temperature of the air around you feel so nice and cool! ❄️
B. It’s been a long summer and you need a break. Come and treat yourself to a soak and some live music before school starts and life gets crazy.
3. It’s our last show for a couple of months. After Tuesday night, these birds will be flying out into remote corners of the world. We’ll miss you, and it would be so great to see you all before we go. 🎻😎🎵❤️

Today is the day! We are headed to New Mexico to play for you at Wine of the San Juan. We are really excited to play here for our first time. BLUEGROUSE is so proud to be joining the PARKINSONS FIGHTERS OF DURANGO for their Vitality Walk fundraiser on Saturday, July 11th 9:00-11:00. We just finished up our first triple header on the road. Three gigs in 36 hours! HUGE FUN!! Thank you Columbine Cafe, Snowpack Taproom and Pizzeria, and the town of Jamestown CO for hosting us! We met some great friends and we look forward to coming back! 🎵🎵
