Now interrupting your (ir)regularly scheduled art for bucket list show pics! Last night I got to see LCD Soundsystem in Asheville (my happy place) at the new Hellbender venue! It’s so fun when you go to a show and know and love every single song!
And to add to the bliss, I got to spend Friday in downtown Asheville and am currently spending my Friday night lounging at Grove Park Inn watching the sunset with a book and large drink in hand while live music is playing by the lit fireplaces (one of my favorite Asheville activities!)
This week wraps up my solo show at the Durham Art Guild DAG Gallery in Golden Belt! This Friday, Sept 11th from 6-8pm join me for the closing reception! (The gallery is also open daily until the 13th!)
I know the big storm deterred people from coming to the opening, so now is your chance! I’d love to chat with you about my process!
The DAG Gallery is at 800 Taylor St, Durham, NC 27701. It’s the same building as Hi-Wire Brewing, just around back where the ARTS sign is. Go in that door past the Golden Belt Art Studios and it’s on your right just before the security desk.

This Friday (Aug 21st) is the day I’ve been prepping for all year! It’s my first solo show titled ‘Ancient Relics’ at the Durham Art Guild DAG Golden Belt Gallery. I’d love to see everyone there for the opening reception from 6-9pm during the Third Friday Artwalk. There will be w**e and a couple beverages to choose from. And Golden Belt Studios are right down the hall so check them out too while you’re there!
So excited to share all of my new work in a subject and style I’m so passionate about! I’m also just starting my 2 year tenure as the vice president of Triangle Potters Guild and would also love to chat with you about all things clay if you’re an artist!

Moved into a new house with a studio this past week all while working on finishing the final pieces for my Durham Art Guild show amid tons of boxes! I lost part of a piece and found it last night at my old house after going through every box at the new house twice! It’s been quite a 🤯 week!!
Looking forward to seeing you all a week from Friday at the reception at Golden Belt from 6-8. The show officially opens this Friday and runs through Sept 13 if you can’t make the reception!

2026 has been an amazing year for Indigo Arts so far! Stay tuned for more info on my solo show at Durham Art Guild in August! I’m also ramping up to be very active in my new VP role at the Triangle Potters Guild. But, most excitingly, in just over a week I’m closing on a house in SE Durham that has a full basement with 3 rooms for my clay studio!
The working part of my studio will be the room with the fireplace and I plan to hold workshops for up to 6 people there as well!
The room with the sliding glass doors will be a gallery, shipping area, and place to photograph my work!
The cinder block room will be my kiln room for my tiny and not so tiny cone 6 kilns.
Stay tuned for progress pics on setting up the studio!

Lord Huron put on an absolutely fantastic show last night! Super creative props and background images, and just a stellar performance!
There was a phone booth on stage and the phone was a moded microphone with a camera that projected the lead singer as he sang into it (2nd photo). So impressed with the creativity!
