Come out to Cars & Coffee Morrisville and make a difference while you're there! On Saturday August 1, 2026 from 8am - 11am, the Durham Rescue Mission Donation Drop-Off will be on site collecting new school supplies for our annual Back-to-School Event, helping local students start the school year with the tools they need to succeed.
Whether you're stopping by to admire the incredible cars, grab a cup of coffee, or connect with fellow enthusiasts, we'd love for you to bring a few school supply donations. Every notebook, backpack, pack of pencils, and box of crayons helps support children in our community.

Duke football players bring smiles to kids at Durham Rescue Mission The visit from some Blue Devils players brought hope, football drills and encouragement to children whose families are working through homelessness and other difficult life circumstances.

We are so grateful for the Duke Football team visiting our Good Samaritan Inn and spending time with the children yesterday! 🏈💙

Your kindness, energy, and willingness to show up means more than you know. Watching these kids light up while playing and talking with your team was a beautiful reminder of the power of community.

With grateful hearts, we invite you to celebrate the life of Milton Randolph "Randy" Harris.

Please join us for a Memorial Service on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at the Durham Rescue Mission, 1201 E. Main Street, Durham, NC.

Randy was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, U.S. Air Force veteran, preacher, mentor, and faithful servant who dedicated many years to the Durham Rescue Mission, helping others find hope, healing, and a fresh start. He will be remembered for his unwavering faith, infectious sense of humor, and the countless stories that brought smiles to everyone around him. Come celebrate a life filled with faith, laughter, and love. We look forward to sharing memories and honoring the remarkable legacy Randy leaves behind.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Durham Rescue Mission in Randy's honor.
