🎧 Tether:
Tether is a Durham-based DJ and producer who turns emotion into movement. Her path began behind the DAW, which s built a deep relationship with sound before she ever stepped into the spotlight. That foundation, paired with deep roots in North Carolina’s underground dance community, led naturally to DJing.
Grounded in House, Garage, and Techno, her sets thrive where genres blur, and unexpected connections emerge. Tether builds mixes that balance depth with motion, open enough to wander, deep enough to get lost in, and always guided by the energy of the room.

🎧 K.ward:
K.Ward’s journey into music began with a House mixtape from his cousin in Queens, NYC, a spark that opened his mind to a new world of sound. That spark caught fire on a night out at a club in Greensboro, North Carolina, where he saw firsthand what music could do to a dance floor. From there, he built a record collection spanning Afro/Latin, House, Downtempo, and beyond.
K.Ward became one of the core DJs at the legendary Mosaic W**e Lounge in Raleigh, helping define the sound that shaped House culture throughout the Triangle. His talent has since taken him to international stages, including Mi Casa Holiday (Playa Del Carmen & Tulum, Mexico) and ADE (Amsterdam, NL). Still driving the culture forward, K.Ward remains a favorite in the Triangle and has no plans to slow down.

🪩 We are 3 days, 2 hours, and 26 minutes away from taking over Shadowbox Studio!
Nugz will be opening the night with some Deep House and Nu-Disco in his set that will get you moving. If you don’t know him yet, you will afterwards!
•
🎧 Nugz:
Born in New York and raised in Miami, Nugz delivers a sound forged from Deep House, Funky House, Latin Tribal, and Soulful House. His style traces back to Miami’s electric 80s dance scene and to his father, a music professor in Cali, Colombia. That heritage lives in every set which is rich in rhythm, deep in soul, and built to move a room.
As once a co-founder of North Carolina’s legendary duo Sound Cartel and an original co-founder of DanceGruv Radio, Nugz has shaped the state’s House music culture from behind the scenes as much as behind the decks. He has shared stages with icons like Roy Davis Jr., Halo, Lady D, and more. He has also brought his sound to landmark events including Winter Music Conference/ Miami Music Week in South Beach Miami and Mi Casa Holiday in Playa del Carmen & Tulum, Mexico.
