At SmokeHouseWood, I bring that experience into handcrafted wooden creations designed to celebrate the natural beauty of wood. Hi, I’m Alex Cochrane, and I’ve spent over 30 years working with wood and landscaping in North Carolina. Each piece—whether it’s a live edge candle holder, stump plant stand, or custom wood accent—is carefully shaped, finished, and sealed to highlight its unique grain, color, and character. I love working with mostly hardwoods to create functional pieces that feel warm, rustic, and timeless. Every item in my shop is one-of-a-kind, made with attention to detail and a respect for the story each piece of wood carries.
