Consider this your excuse to wander over to the Bryan Center Plaza between classes.

Duke OIT asked what you wanted to learn next, and the answers helped shape this fall’s Learn IT @ Lunch lineup.

Duke OIT’s live lunchtime webinar series returns with seven Zoom sessions covering practical topics including several sessions on AI, communication tools, time management and accessibility.

The series kicks off at noon Wednesday, Sept. 2 with “AI Beyond the Chatbot,” exploring how Duke teams have used AI and how it can support day-to-day work.

See the full lineup and find a session that fits what you’re curious about this fall.

Good news 🎉 You no longer need Duke VPN to access DukeHub or DKUHub from off campus.

Last week, Duke temporarily required VPN access as an extra security measure while the IT Security Office addressed a potential cybersecurity threat. That additional protection is no longer needed, and DukeHub and DKUHub are back to normal.

So if you're registering for class, checking grades, financial aid, or anything else, just log in like usual.

✅ On campus? You're good.
✅ Off campus? You're good.

Questions? Contact the OIT Service Desk.

Off campus and need to use DukeHub?

Starting now, you'll need to connect to Duke VPN before accessing DukeHub from off-campus locations. VPN keeps you secure AND keeps systems secure.

Whether you're checking grades, viewing your class schedule, managing financial aid, or taking care of other student tasks in DukeHub, make sure you're connected to the VPN first.
