Manatee is a friendly 7 year old female ball python who was surrendered this week. She is stunted for her age, but hopefully should start gaining weight and size soon!

Patrick and SpongeBob are two young adult leopard geckos who were surrendered this weekend. Patrick is an adult male, and SpongeBob is an adult female. They’re both a little overweight so we’ll be transitioning them to a healthier diet, but otherwise they’re in good shape!

Krill the agama has been doing great and gained 12 grams!! He’s still very thin but going in the right direction. Depending on how he does this week, we may be doing his tail amputation and abscess draining surgery soon.

FOUND TORTOISE - PLEASE SHARE

This large female Russian tortoise was found in a Raleigh neighborhood this week. Please contact us with more information if you believe this is your lost tortoise! She’s in great shape and we’d love to get her back home.

We had two 21 year old ball pythons surrendered this week. They actually both probed male, which was very surprising to us as one is over 3 kg! We have named them Blue Whale and Narwhal. They have both been very well loved and cared for, and could easily have another 10-20 years ahead of them. Blue Whale had some stuck shed, which was removed after a soak. We will be putting him on a diet. Narwhal is currently in shed. Both are very friendly and easy to handle!

Moray is a 7 year old ball python who was surrendered this weekend. He is very small for his age and only about 900 grams. He has a retained eye cap on his left eye but is currently in shed, so hopefully will shed that off. In our experience, stunted snakes usually still get to full size once put on a proper feeding schedule.
