I hope that you’re all having a great day so far. I hope that no matter what you are doing or where you are you are going, that at some point today you will experience love to the fullest degree.

I’m here at Duke Cancer Center and in the radiation department. I have nineteen tumors in my brain that they are starting radiation on today. I will have radiation done every morning for the next five straight days, back to back. Then, next week, I will start IV immunotherapy and then we will go from there.

It’s impossible for me to individually say ‘THANK YOU’ to every single person who has shown Justin and I so much kindness and love. I am alive today because of love, and I heal because of it too. Please continue to pray for me this week and send me positive vibrations. I am forever grateful for you all.

Yesterday, we learned that my cancer has metastasized. The test ran yesterday, specifically the MRI, shows that my brain is eat up with cancer. I don’t know a whole lot yet. But when my medical oncologist called with the news he did say that surgery is not an option because there is just too much cancer. So, I am going back to Duke on Wednesday to start radiation on some parts of my brain. We will learn more about my prognosis then too.

Please, please join me in prayer and send positive vibrations my way. I will update you all again hopefully after my next appointment.

Let’s talk about CANCER!! Uggh! I haven’t updated everybody in a long time and for that I apologize. I have been a little quite about everything because I don’t know a lot of what is going on. I haven’t been to see my oncologists in a while. However, that is scheduled to change this coming week.

I am scheduled to have an MRI of my brain, PET scan of my entire body and a ton of blood work. I’m nervous about all of it. But the PET scan I have to say is the one I’m not looking forward to the most. Since surgery, last September, I have had two other PET scans and both scans showed enlarged lymph nodes around my liver. In my case, that is never a great thing to have going on. It could be nothing, and probably is nothing. But the PET scan next week will show if the lymph nodes have increased in size any more, or hopefully the scan will show that the lymphs have went back to normal size!

A few months ago, they increased my oral chemo to help fight if anything was going on next to my liver. My body was fine for the first month of the chemo increase, but since then I have been experiencing some really hard and difficult side effects. Most days, I throw up basically off and on all day long. I’ve lost a bunch of weight (I’m okay with that part 😘 lol) I have been experiencing some of the most wicked fatigue. I have absolutely zero energy and my body is just a bit tired i think from all the medicine.

I have had some weird side effects like the palm of my left hand keeps turning orange! It’s crazy. My right knee area keeps doing the same thing and is apparently kinda normal. I’m basically an Oompa Loompa in the making. Lol. The part that has been probably the hardest for me is my hair has started thinning out pretty badly. The front and top of my head are so thin now and it makes me sad. But, I am alive today and that’s all that matters right now.

I am fighting right now for something that’s important to me. I am okay, and I am going to be okay. I believe in the power of love. I want to say ‘thank you’ to everyone reading this. Thank you for loving me. Thank you for believing in me and with me and for sending prayers and positive thoughts my way.

I am asking everyone to please continue praying for me and sending me positive vibrations this week as I go back to Duke Cancer Institute in Durham and have these important test done. I am so thankful for all of the folks that have shown me so much love and kindness during this last year of my life.

I am so blessed. SO blessed. 🙏❤️

I love music. It’s been my source of survival for my entire life long. So, it is about dang time that I start writing and releasing tracks that are actually relevant to me from either the present or the past.
