I am happy to share that our short documentary, “Listen: LP’s & the Power Of Music,” has been officially selected for this year’s Tryon International Film Festival — honored to have been included in this yearns lineup.

Thank you to the selection committee— screening details to come soon.

Personal projects fuel the soul.

After my father died, I decided to jump into a new project; through thoughtful interviews with family, friends, colleagues, and those who knew him, my aim is to tell his story & etch his memory into time.

Over the weekend, the production of this documentary finally began—one part legacy film, one part grief meditation.

Here are a few stills from my family members that made time to sit with me for these emotional & earnest interviews.

Losing jobs is part of the job. There’s lots of lessons to be learned when it happens.

Has this happened to you?

It’s not every day that you get the opportunity to spend time with such talented & knowledgeable individuals, and capture their intricate demonstrations.

Thank you to Impact EMS & Know Fully for bringing me on to support this education initiative. Here are some stills from the three-day shoot.

Some behind the scenes from a recent shoot in Rocky Mount. This was a refreshing & fun project to execute, and these projects always remind me why I do this.

So, what are you waiting for? Do what you love.

It’s been a busy six months.

Busy enough that it warranted a new production reel. This year so far has led to many new opportunities, projects, and stories to be told. This reel is just a small collection of all of my favorites.

I used to think you had to do much more to start a successful filmmaking business. Post a bunch. Practice constant outreach. Make the “right” project.

I’ve since learned that is flat out wrong. I’ve found incredible success by taking the simple approach; in person networking, relationships, referrals, being a resource, and above all, just doing great work on every project.

So, if you’re stuck still trying to build your creative business in this new age— take a step back. Try it the “old fashioned” way.
