Emily With Animals

Dog cake recipe:

- For the cake -

1 large egg
½ cup pumpkin puree
½ cup unsweetened applesauce
¼ cup melted coconut oil
¼ cup peanut butter (no xylitol or artificial sweeteners)
1 cup flour
½ teaspoon baking soda

•Beat the egg in a large mixing bowl
•Add in pumpkin puree, applesauce, melted coconut oil and peanut butter, and mix until combined
•Stir in flour and baking soda 
•Spread mixture into 8” cake pan
•Bake at 350 for 22 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean

- For the frosting -

1 cup heavy whipping cream
½ cup peanut butter

•In a medium mixing bowl, beat the whipping cream until soft peaks form
•Mix in the peanut butter until combined
•If you want to make white frosting for writing with, just leave out the peanut butter
