My name is Dr. Kelvin Bullock and I am the Executive Director of Maureen Joy Charter School in Durham. Maureen Joy is a free public charter school focused on academic excellence, joyful learning, strong relationships, and a diverse, multicultural community. We also offer transportation, before/after care, extracurricular activities, and Spanish language accessibility.

Our school is still enrolling students for the 2026–2027 school year, with seats available in kindergarten, first, fourth, and fifth grades.
