Some dreams stay with us—and sometimes, they find their way back to the stage.

At Waltonwood, the Adventure by Waltonwood program creates meaningful experiences inspired by each resident’s own life, memories, and passions. This October, that spirit of adventure is bringing two lifelong theatre lovers, Bonnie and Tony, to the stage.

Bonnie and Tony will share this special moment in Singin’ in the Rain Sr., presented by Dancing Man Productions, on Thursday, October 15, at 2:00 p.m. at Raleigh Little Theatre.

For Bonnie, theatre has been part of her story since childhood. She began acting in elementary school, developed her love for theatre in Missouri, and went on to perform in summer productions at Branson’s Shepherd of the Hills Theatre. She appeared in The Shepherd of the Hills, Old Drum, and The Rainmaker—and also directed Miracle of the Danube. Musical theatre and historical dramas have always held a special place in her heart.

Tony’s theatre story is equally extraordinary. He has acted, directed, taught, designed sets and costumes, and helped bring countless productions to life—including serving as Director of Raleigh Little Theatre in the 1970s. Theatre remains part of who he is; he can often be heard sharing favorite lines from memory and delighting those around him with his quick wit.

We are deeply grateful to Waltonwood for inviting us to help make this special adventure possible—and for reminding us that it is never too late for a dream to return to the stage.

From the music and movement to the laughter, friendships, and unforgettable moments along the way, this is going to be a very special production.

Location: Raleigh Little Theatre; 1:00-4:00PM
Audition dates: September 8-9

Please prepare:
- A song in the style of the show—a verse and a chorus
- Bring your music; no a ca****la auditions
- Dress comfortably for a short movement audition
