Durham Tech Medical Assisting

The medical assisting roundtable is one of our favorite events during our program. Our students get a chance to ask questions to different members of the healthcare team and get insight on medical assisting, time management, teamwork, and so much more! Special thanks to Pediatric Endocrinologist, Dr. Deanna Adkins and recent program graduate Angela Dayal for speaking to our students today!

Medical assistants are a vital part of the healthcare team. Today’s lesson in MED 110 focused on understanding different parts of the healthcare team and how we can work together to achieve patient centered care. Ready to begin your journey to become a medical assistant? Applications for the evening hybrid cohort are still open until September 30th!

The early morning classes, the late night study sessions, the multiple competency attempts, and the culmination of it all during the clinical practicum…
It all leads to this very moment!

Congratulations again to the Durham Tech Medical Assisting class of 2026 🧡💚🎓🩺
