A few rainy Fridays ago we at CANDOR Farm had the pleasure of hosting the students and their families who participate in the ADHD program of El Futuro, a mental health clinic with a strong focus on identity, community building and culturally responsive services, nurturing families to heal together through clinical services and community enrichment activities.

“We believe the restoration of healing and wellbeing comes from feeling seen and heard by an other and for that reason one of our most important values is Calor Humano (human warmth) and we were able to see that value flourishing at the event in your farm past Friday.” 🥰

Just like neurotypes, queerness is natural and part of the many things that make up ourselves. We’re doing a lot of TRANSplanting at the farm during pride so come out to our last workday of the month and steward plants in their TRANSition from pots into the ground! We’ll be at CANDOR Farm Saturday 7-10am and then at the Part and Parcel Community Garden 10am-12pm
