Made a tiny stain glass window for my next Baba Yaga project! 👁️ HT to the visitor to the CipherArt booth that the idea grew from. 🫶

Vendor spotlights from CryptidFest! There were so many great artists and vendors at this event and I wish we could have supported even more of them! The beautiful luna moth is frrom The Croaking Cicada Oddities and the other oddities I plan to use in future CipherArt miniature wunderkammers. The vials with porcupine quills, sea urchin spines and raccoon teeth are from Lorie LaRoe and the small vials with teeny bones are from Cranial Art and the tumbled uranium glass is from Ghastly Studio 👻 who also had some killer jewelry. The freeze dried candy is from Alesha and the fantastic hot sauce is from Oak City Hot Sauce Company who we have bought from before. There are several vendors I regret not buying from but hopefully I will get a chance online or at another event in the future! 🫶

It’s a wild day at carolinacryptidfest and CipherArt and I have had such a great time! Just a couple more hours to get your weird on with us!

Just a few more days until you can catch CipherArt at the Carolina CryptidFest in Raleigh! We are excited to debut many new pieces including my Baba Yaga houses that I finished just in time. Bring your children, she’s hungry! 👁️

Most folks have no idea how much work goes into getting ready for a big market or festival. We’ve significantly reduced the number of CipherArt events this year but we are simultaneously trying to up our game with our booth setup and online shop. The first photo is behind the behind the scenes testing out a new gímbal, rotating base and photography set with mossy background for our one of a kind creatures. We’ve made a whopping 17 new pieces prior to the Carolina CryptidFest next weeekend! The second photo is setting up a new banner stand in our living room. This is to hang our banner on when we don’t have our tent set up. (Bonus points that Izzy is watching suspiciously from the couch!)🤪
