2026 Summer Nationals: Meet the Medalists 07/03/2026

Bronze medal for Legs Miserables- congratulations to RTFAthletes Bonnie & Kathryn, plus Margaret Fagan (NYFC) and Rachel Fedde (Brooklyn Fencing Center)

Kathryn wraps her 2026 Nationals medaling 4 times in 4 events: team silver (VTmWS), team bronze (VTmWF), individual bronze (V40WF), and individual top 8 (V40WS).

Bonnie is 2/2: Team Bronze (VTmWF) and Individual top 8 (V60WF).

That's a pretty good batting average.

Finals - Vet-40 Women's Foil - Final - (RECKLING vs CHO) and Barrage - SN Portland, OR 2026 07/02/2026

Ever fenced a final and felt stressed? How about a complete season-wide tie between two athletes. To determine the World Team, Kathryn had to fence a bout AFTER the gold medal match was over. There are a lot of lessons here: use your video challenges well, give your opponent room to make mistakes, and play with your distance.
