APlus Test Prep

It's not football, but we're still talking about scores.

In anticipation of College Application Week, parents and students are invited to attend this special Experience APlus in which we focus on SAT/ACT scores for admission and scholarships to NC colleges. The session includes a strategy session focused on sample test questions, info about using test scores to get college scholarships, and an ongoing Q&A during which participants get all their ACT and SAT questions answered. aplushigherscores.com/events

Experience APlus--where success is a family affair.

The 2027-2028 FAFSA is now open. Parents and students, you know what to do!

Parents, have questions about the SAT, ACT, PSAT or college admissions testing? Ask us. We're trying something new: APlus Parent Office Hours, the first of which will be September 26 at 9am.

No registration. No presentation. No sales pitch. Just bring your questions.

For 30 minutes, we'll be online and available to answer questions like:

• Should my student take the SAT or ACT?
• What if my child has test anxiety?
• When should they start preparing?
• What does their score actually mean?
• Should they test again?
• How important are test scores for scholarships?
• My child is taking the ACT at school; what should we be doing now?

Or bring a question we haven't thought of. You don't have to stay for the entire session. Pop in, ask your question, get an answer and go. Or just listen to what other parents are asking.

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 26. 9AM.

Confidence raises scores.

We're proud to celebrate APlus student Alex Rowe, a 2026 graduate and Valedictorian of Northampton County Early College High School.

Alex didn't leave high school with just a diploma. He also earned his Associate of Arts degree, Summa Cum Laude, from Halifax Community College.

Now he's headed to North Carolina A&T State University, where he plans to major in Political Science with the goal of becoming a city planner.

That's what we mean when we talk about opening doors. Test preparation is one part of a much bigger journey that requires hard work, preparation, confidence, and a student willing to take advantage of the opportunities in front of him.

Alex, congratulations. We are proud of everything you've accomplished and excited to see where you go next.
