Homecoming weekend is off to a great start! ✈️
Bomber pride was on full display as we kicked things off with a schoolwide pep rally before bringing the celebration into the community for our Homecoming parade and Friday night football game!
The excitement continued under the lights as ER/Gananda defeated Penn Yan/Dundee, 17-14! 🎉
During halftime, we also had the opportunity to recognize our Homecoming Court and introduce this year's East Rochester Athletic Wall of Fame inductees!
A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out to celebrate and cheer on our Bombers!
We're not done yet! Join us tomorrow at 10 a.m. in the auditorium as we officially welcome our newest inductees into the East Rochester Athletic Wall of Fame!
Go Bombers! ✈️

Did you know? In school, every minute matters when we are educating Every Bomber, Every Day!
To some it may be “just one day” of school missed, but did you know it can take up to three days for a student to make up missed work?
Check out our graphics below about how little by little, missed time can impact your student in a big way!

ER juniors and seniors had the opportunity to connect with representatives from 15 Rochester-area colleges during the College Admission Rochester Area (CARA) Fair here at East Rochester High School.
Students explored academic programs, campus life, financial aid and admissions requirements while getting their questions answered directly by college representatives.
It was a great opportunity to explore options, make connections and start thinking about life after graduation. Thank you to the following colleges for showing students what opportunities await:
• Alfred State College
• Alfred University
• Finger Lakes Community College
• Genesee Community College
• Houghton University
• Keuka College
• Monroe Community College

Thank you to Coach Kala Caster, NRW Girls Varsity Soccer Coach, for her nomination of #18 - Skye Sheerens and #13 - Sloan Sowinski to Section V's "Caught In The Act of Kindness" program for their actions during a recent soccer game!
From the nomination: "Respect, empathy, compassion, and sportsmanship matter just as much as what a player brings to the field. These two young ladies demonstrated those qualities in a moment when they didn't have to. They put competition aside and showed genuine concern for another player, regardless of the jersey she was wearing. As coaches, we have the opportunity to shape young athletes, and moments like this remind me that the impact we have goes far beyond soccer. Please let these two players know that their actions did not go unnoticed and that they should be proud of the example they set."
