Empowerment Pathways
We offer mentorship, mental health support, parenting education and advocacy to underprivileged populations. Please call for additional information.
We strongly believe in the power of education and mentorship to break the cycle of adversity and provide a pathway to a brighter future. Most insurances accepted and a sliding scale option for those without insurance.

After pregnancy loss, faith can feel different.
Some people feel shaken. Some question what they once believed. Some find faith quiet. Some find it steady. Some do not hold a religious tradition at all.
We want to make room for all of it.
You may doubt. You may carry unanswered prayers or difficult questions. You may hold on to something, or no longer hold what you once did.
You do not need to have answers. Not knowing is not a failure, and you do not owe anyone certainty.
As part of our Path to Maternal Wellness campaign, we’re sharing gentle space for every honest place after loss. Our blog post, “Honoring Your Journey,” offers a quiet source of insight when you feel ready.
If connection feels supportive, our weekly perinatal loss support group is available at:

We’re here to walk alongside you, without asking you to believe, explain, or feel anything before you’re ready.

Sometimes grief after pregnancy loss can feel like a cloud in your thoughts.
You lose track of a sentence halfway through.
A word won’t come. You misplace your keys, walk into a room and forget why, or read the same sentence twice.
If this happens to you, it does not mean you are failing. It does not mean anything is wrong with you. Your mind may be carrying more than it can easily hold right now.
This cloudiness may come and go. It is okay to slow down. It is okay to do less. It is okay to let someone hold one small detail for a while.
Through our Path to Maternal Wellness campaign, we’re making room for the quiet ways grief can affect a day.
Our blog post, “Honoring Your Journey,” offers gentle insight whenever you would like to read more.

Sometimes memory arrives through scent.
Baby lotion.
Rain on pavement.
A certain candle.
Fresh laundry.
Before you have words for it, a moment can be there. A baby can feel close again.
You do not have to brace against it. You do not have to push it away.
You can simply notice. Breathe. Let it be tender, if it is tender.
There is no lesson you need to find in it. No right way to receive the memory.
Through our Path to Maternal Wellness campaign, we share gentle insight for the many ways grief can return. Our blog post, “Honoring Your Journey,” is there whenever you want a quiet place to read.

As the days grow shorter and the autumn light begins to change, grief can feel different in a quieter season.
Your energy may dip. Afternoons may feel longer. This is not a setback, and it does not mean you are going backward.
We can move with the light, gently: a lamp left on, a few minutes outside while the sun is out, or a slower evening. There is no need to push past what this day has to offer.
Through our Path to Maternal Wellness campaign, we’re sharing gentle care for the changing days. Our blog, “Honoring Your Journey,” offers gentle insight whenever you feel ready.

This week’s tip is simple, and we can do it today: check in on someone we love.
We can choose one person who has seemed quieter than usual and ask a specific question: “You’ve seemed a bit off lately. How are you really doing?”
We don’t need perfect words, and we don’t need to be therapists. We just need two minutes and a real question. We can listen without trying to fix everything, keep the conversation private, and follow up next week.
Asking directly about hard feelings doesn’t plant the idea. Silence does.
If we or someone we care about needs immediate emotional support, we can call or text 988 to reach the 988 Su***de & Crisis Lifeline.
Empowerment Pathways offers trauma-informed therapy for individuals and families, in person and by telehealth. Who could we check on this week?

Not every day after pregnancy loss has to hold a revelation.
Some days may simply be about noticing the weather, completing one small task, watching a familiar show, or getting through the hours as they come. An ordinary day is not a denial of love. It is not proof that you have forgotten. It is simply a day you are living.
You do not have to turn your grief into a lesson or make every moment meaningful. You are allowed to exist without explaining what the day represents.
With care, Honoring Your Journey makes space for all of it. Learn more about the Path to Maternal Wellness campaign at www.newempwermentpathways.org.

Sleep can hold its own kind of tenderness after pregnancy loss.
Some nights may bring vivid dreams, familiar feelings, or a sudden return to memories. Other nights may feel blank, restless, or far away. Whatever comes, you do not have to interpret it or find a message in it.
A dream is not a promise, a prediction, or a measure of how you are healing. It can simply be one experience your heart and mind move through while you rest.
Be gentle with yourself in the morning, wherever the night has taken you. Honoring Your Journey is part of the Path to Maternal Wellness campaign at www.newempwermentpathways.org.

Sometimes grief arrives through a screen.
A photograph, an announcement, a memory, or a familiar face can bring a wave of feeling before you have time to prepare. You may scroll past, close the app, set your phone down, or stay with what appears. There is no single right response.
What reaches your heart matters, even when it happens in an ordinary moment. You are allowed to care for your attention gently and return to the present in whatever way feels kind.
Your journey does not need to look a certain way to be worthy of care. Explore Honoring Your Journey and the Path to Maternal Wellness campaign at www.newempwermentpathways.org.

Grief does not always pause the ordinary parts of life.
There may still be emails to answer, errands to run, dishes to wash, and places to be. Moving through these responsibilities after pregnancy loss can feel disorienting: especially when the world around you seems unchanged.
You do not have to perform “normal” perfectly. A slower pace, a quieter day, or doing only what is truly necessary can be enough. Your grief remains real, even while you are tending to everyday things.
Honoring Your Journey means making room for the whole of your experience, including the moments when life asks something practical of you. Learn more about the Path to Maternal Wellness campaign at www.newempwermentpathways.org.

Sometimes, after pregnancy loss, comments meant to comfort can leave us feeling hurt, unsettled, or unseen.
We are allowed to pause. We are allowed to choose which conversations we enter and which ones we leave for another day. We do not have to explain the depth of our loss to make it real.
Another person’s discomfort, silence, or lack of understanding does not define the importance of what we carried, loved, and lost. Our grief matters: even when others do not know how to meet it.
Through the Path to Maternal Wellness campaign, we are making room for honest reflection, gentle care, and healing in our own time. We invite our community to spend a quiet moment with Honoring Your Journey.
