🏅Medal Monday 🏅

Andrea took on Ironman 70.3 Maine this weekend… and what a race it was.

But this wasn’t just a great race day. It was the result of months of intentional preparation.

Andrea trained with more purpose and precision than ever before. She tested wetsuits until she found she didn’t like any of them. She dialed in her nutrition down to the ounce of fluid and the milligram of caffeine. She rode the course over and over on her trainer so race day would feel familiar, not intimidating.

Nothing was left to chance.

And when the starting gun went off, she didn’t have to hope things would go well.

She knew they would.

She finished her first sub-6-hour 70.3.

Andrea‘s performance wasn’t built on race day. It was built in every early morning, every detailed plan, every training peaks comment and reflection, every practice session, and every decision you made to prepare instead of guess.

Congratulations on an incredible race and a breakthrough performance. You earned it.

Ex*****on isn’t luck. It’s a skill. And Andrea mastered it.

The best compliment I’ve ever received didn’t come from another coach, friend, athlete or fellow marketer.

It came after months of feeding my own words into ChatGPT and asking one simple question: “Can you make this better?”

It never changed my message. It just helped me say it more clearly. And somewhere along the way, it started noticing patterns in my writing that I couldn’t see myself.

That was the moment I realized AI is at its best when it doesn’t replace your voice— it helps refine your own.

If you’re creating content, don’t ask AI to be you. Write first. Think first. Tell your stories first.

Then ask it to make your words stronger.
That’s where the magic is. ✨

AI is not a replacement for creativity. It’s a tool that, when well utilized, can help people better express who they already are.

This weekend, Andrea takes on IRONMAN 70.3 Maine. 💪

She has put in the work for this one—riding the course on her trainer, crushing her long runs, building confidence in open water, and showing up day after day with the kind of consistency that earns great race days.

Andrea works so damn hard, and there isn’t a single shortcut in her training. She’s earned every bit of fitness she’s bringing to that start line.

I can’t wait to watch it all come together tomorrow. Go race with confidence, trust your training, and have an incredible day out there. We’ve got the whole IronLife crew cheering you on! 🧡

🏆 July Athlete of the Month: Kevin

This month we’re celebrating Kevin—not for a PR or a podium finish, but for his commitment to the long game.

In January, after 18 months of battling a stubborn knee injury, Kevin underwent surgery when it became clear there wasn’t another path forward.

The day he was cleared to train, he called me.

“Let’s get me ready for the Olympic distance triathlon at NJ Supertri, Coach.”

Five months. That’s what we had to rebuild his strength, restore his confidence, and return him to running safely.

Was it challenging?
Absolutely.
Was it impossible?
Not even close.

The road back wasn’t smooth. Illness sidelined him for a few weeks. Arthritis in his back flared up just before race day. Work travel disrupted training. And through it all, he’s also working toward his doctorate.

But Kevin never lost sight of the goal. He kept showing up, adapting when needed, and trusting the process.

That’s what resilience looks like.

Congratulations, Kevin. You aren’t just training for triathlons—you are building your IronLife: developing the discipline, patience, grit, and adaptability that lead to success in both sport and life.

I’m so grateful to be part of your journey. 🔥💪🏼

The biggest mistake I ever made as a coach?

➡️swipe through to find out

Today’s medal monday celebrates something much greater than a finish line. IronLife’s biggest victory at NJ SUPERTRI wasn’t on the podium—it was becoming a team.

Thank you for the inspiration and for the incredible venue and production to make our team’s magic happen.

✅TRACKER LOADED! Our biggest race weekend of the season! 8 athletes race this weekend, and 7 of them all on the same course! SUPER excited for NJ SUPERTRI. It’s a “backyard race” for many of us - only 20 minutes from my house, and I’ve done it half a dozen times. Hoping for rain to bring us some good air quality on race morning. Good luck to everyone this weekend!

🏅Medal Monday 🏅in peak triathlon season is my favorite day of the week. It was a great weekend for IronLife athletes Nancy, Andrea and Amanda.

➡️SWIPE through to see what they accomplished!

Nancy had an incredible performance at the Women’s Philly Tri. A few months ago she wasn’t able to swim laps. Yesterday, she completed her second triathlon where absolutely crushed the bike, and finished strong even on a hot run.

Andrea had another stand-out performance at the Vincetown Sprint Triathlon, earning 1st place in her age group and 6th overall female. She just keeps getting stronger.

Amanda had her best open water swim yet, with a 1 mile ocean swim in NJ. It was one of her best open water swims to date, where her pool swim training translated to success in open water. Can’t wait to see the rest of her season unfold!

This weekend belongs to the girls. 💪✨

Nancy.
Mandi S.
Andrea.
Amanda.

Different start lines. Different finish lines. Same fearless mindset.

From 5Ks to sprint triathlons to open-water mile swims, these women are proving there’s no challenge too big when you’re willing to put in the work.

Go race with confidence, trust your training, and have some fun out there.

Team IronLife is cheering you on every step, pedal stroke, and swim stroke. Good luck this weekend!
