Cookies are obviously a favorite in my house. So many good flavors to choose from but you can’t go wrong with a snickerdoodle, especially straight out of the oven.

Happy National Daughter Day (a day late) to the young woman that was one of the huge inspirations behind Zelicious.

Back in 2020 Caitlyn was trying to find a job and was having difficulty due to Covid. Like everyone else, we started baking and totally enjoyed it. Caitlyn has always loved baking/cooking since she was little and also enjoyed it in school.

Caitlyn’s plan was to go to school in NYC to be a chef, alas that did not happen. I could not be prouder why that plan did not come to be. If you have followed me for awhile, you have seen that she ended up joining the United States Navy.

I enjoy all of the baking moments we have had and look forward to all of the future ones. I am fortunate that her journey and encouragement brought us to this beautiful small business dream of mine.

I went there today after school and grabbed the kielbasa and peppers skillet and a lemon crème and blueberry stuffed croissant!

I absolutely love going to the Black Butterfly. They have the most unique and beautiful decor!
