Vel, the mighty divine spear of Lord Skandha, symbolizes Gnana Shakti—the power of wisdom and intelligence. Its sharp, pointed tip represent focus, discernment, and a keen intellect. The length and breadth of the Vel signify the vastness and depth of knowledge and spiritual wisdom. This sacred weapon was given to Lord Muruga by Goddess Parvati, embodying her divine energy and power. Worship of the Vel is considered highly sacred and is believed to bestow clarity, courage, and protection by dispelling fear, ignorance, and negative influences.
