MCDO has earned a great record of success in helping to elect Democrats at all levels of gov't.

The Middlesex County Democratic Organization is governed by the elected Committeemen and Committeewomen who are accountable to the registered Democratic voters of the county. Those Committee members elect a Chair each year, and other officers. In turn a salaried Executive Director and other officials are appointed by the Chair. The Organization has adopted, and periodically reviews, a Constitution and By-Laws. It is said that, "Candidates make speeches but organizations win elections." This is certainly true in Middlesex County where our organization has earned a great record of success in helping to elect public officials at the federal, state, county and local levels. The strength of any organization is reflected in the strength of its volunteers. If you would like to volunteer to participate in any Democratic contest at any level of government, please contact our Organization at (732) 906-3680.

Great things are happening in Middlesex County!

Earlier this week, our state, county and local leaders were in South Amboy to celebrate the ribbon cutting of NY Waterway’s South Amboy Ferry Terminal.

Whether you’re headed into the city for work or catching a show, the South Amboy Ferry offers another convenient way to get where you’re going.

This exciting new connection expands transportation options, strengthens regional connectivity and represents another important investment in the future of Middlesex County.

Over the past several decades, severe weather has resulted in nearly $199.4 million in damages and response costs across Middlesex County, impacting our infrastructure, our communities, and ultimately, our taxpayers.

We commend Middlesex County and the Board of Commissioners for taking this important step to protect our communities, strengthen our resilience against future severe weather, and get accountability for the significant costs these events have created.

Middlesex County residents should not be left to shoulder the financial burden of addressing these impacts alone. By taking action, the county is standing up for taxpayers and working to ensure our communities have the resources needed to prepare for and respond to the challenges ahead. Yom Kippur reminds us of the power of reflection, forgiveness, and starting anew. It is a day set aside for looking inward, making amends, and recommitting to being better, to ourselves, to our families, and to our communities.

Today marks this sacred day of atonement, observed through fasting, prayer, and quiet reflection. It's a tradition that speaks to something universal: the belief that we are always capable of change, and that a new year offers a fresh start.

May this Yom Kippur bring peace, renewal, and hope for the year ahead.

G'mar chatimah tovah.
